All right, I admit. I’m a big snacker. In fact I down right graze all day. But I rarely have large meals. For me that’s what works.
A good snacking, or mini meal rule of thumb is to combine a carb with a good fat (almonds, avocado, peanut butter) or lean protein (low fat cheese stick, egg, lean chicken). I also make sure to throw in fruits and veggies a few times through out the day. My favorite afternoon combo is spinach, and egg omelet. Yum.
Here are some of my everyday eats. Healthy snacks or mini meals to start your New Year off a little healthier (as a bonus you will have more energy).
